Wheel dresser with diamond point for dressing the grinding wheel of Powermatic planers as well as other brands. attaches to the frame of the planer where wheel is above it and can be lowered down on it at about a 8 o'clock position on the wheel face. New Old Stock.
Use this dresser when grinding and:
1-Grinding wheel is new or has been remounted on arbor
2-Burn marks or discoloration appear on knives when grinding
3-Grinding wheel loads up, (will not spark out), & appears discolored
4-Before final pass

Also in this package is one jointing stone for the Powermatic jointing attachment that fits the same planers. It measures 3/4''X3/4''X4'' long. Used after grinding, (or according to some before), to get the best possible finish on wood, particularly figured woods like tiger or curly maple and crotch cut lumber.See item # 370220588397
